We are recruiting for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our Trading team. The Trading team’s main focus is on ensuring the profitability of our insurance products by maintaining the loss ratio via pricing overlays based on emerging trends, we are also responsible for making sure sales volume and average premium targets are being met by responding to changes in the market.

The successful candidate will have expert knowledge of the market and previous experience in developing and deploying pricing changes. Data science skills such as statistical machine learning applied using open source programming such as Python or R are a benefit but not a necessity. You must be an excellent communicator and have a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

The Machine Learning Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing the development and deployment of the ML Ops platform for Project Pegasus. This role involves leading a cross-functional team to ensure the successful implementation and integration of ML models into the live pricing environment. The ML Ops Lead will work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and external consultants to deliver a robust and scalable ML platform.

The Machine Learning Operations Engineer will support the development and maintenance of the ML Ops platform for Project Pegasus. This role involves building and maintaining the data infrastructure required for the platform, developing API services, and ensuring the integration of ML models into the live environment.

The successful candidate will lead the effective and efficient delivery of pricing changes via Radar Live. They must have a proven track record of managing the process of pricing changes within a General Insurer over several years.

We are recruiting for a Data Governance Manager to establish and enforce robust data governance practices across the Somerset Bridge Group, ensuring data assets are accurate, secure, and used ethically and efficiently. This role plays a critical part in shaping the organisation’s data culture by embedding policies, standards, and controls that align with regulatory requirements (e.g. FCA, PRA, Data Protection Act 2018) and support the group’s strategic objectives.
 
The successful candidate will lead the development of a formal data governance framework, including data ownership models, stewardship engagement, and quality management processes. They will work closely with data architects, engineers, analysts, compliance, and business functions to ensure data is governed, understood, and fit for purpose across its lifecycle.

The purpose of this role is to lead and manage second line compliance advisory activity within Somerset Bridge Group. This position supports ensuring that SBG adheres to FCA (and other relevant) regulatory requirements, maintaining the company’s integrity and fostering a culture of compliance. The role promotes the importance of regulatory compliance and risk management, providing assurance to Senior Management and the Governing Body.

This role will play a critical role in contributing towards the delivery of Risk Pricing Objectives, in line with company goals, through innovation, collaboration, and self-development initiatives relevant to Risk Pricing. 

The role is integral to providing data-driven insights to the Risk Pricing team, leveraging advanced analytics to influence pricing and related business decisions; this will also be about your development and ability to acquire / contribute essential pricing techniques / acumen.  Focus will be on analysts who focus on aspects such as risk models, monitoring, data evaluation.
